Africa Finance Corporation $1.16 Billion Dual Currency Facility Acted as Nigerian counsel to a global syndicate of 11 lenders (including institutions from the Middle East, Europe, and Asia) on a landmark $ 1.16 billion equivalent dual-currency (USD and NGN) facility provided to Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). This is AFC’s largest-ever debt facility, supporting pan-African energy and infrastructure projects, with advice on Nigerian regulatory compliance, security arrangements, and cross-border structuring.
Advised Deutsche Bank on a EUR 62.9 million sovereign facility
Advised Deutsche Bank on a EUR 62.9 million sovereign facility to the Federal Government of Nigeria to bolster electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure nationwide, including regulatory interface and bankability of sector reforms.
Acted as counsel to North South Gurara Energy Company
Acted as counsel to North South Gurara Energy Company on the sale and purchase of net electrical output from the 30 MW Gurara hydropower plant in Kaduna, covering offtake structuring and grid integration issues.
