Championing Equal Access to Justice for All.
Our lawyers dedicate their time and expertise to supporting individuals, non-profits, and mission-driven organisations. Whether through advisory work or legal representation, we approach every pro bono matter with the same rigour and excellence as our commercial engagements.
We collaborate with advocacy groups, social enterprises, and development-focused organisations to address critical issues, protect rights, and strengthen institutions. Through our pro bono work, we use the law as a force for good, advancing fairness, enabling opportunity, and contributing to a more equitable society.
Where We Make a Difference
Where We Make a Difference
Commercial and Governance
Beyond individual representation, our lawyers regularly support regulatory and public institutions through training, sensitisation seminars and knowledge-sharing helping to strengthen the broader legal and regulatory ecosystem in which access to justice depends.
Access to Justice
Our lawyers provide free legal advice, representation and document drafting for individuals and groups who lack the means to secure legal support helping to bridge the gap between legal need and legal access in Nigeria.
This includes direct community engagement, such as our outreach visits to remand homes, where our team works closely with vulnerable young people, offering support and helping to safeguard their rights within the justice system.
Education and Capacity Building
We extend our pro bono commitment to education, supporting initiatives such as Teach for Nigeria and the BOA Scholarship Award, established in memory of our founding partner, the late Bankole Olumide Aluko, SAN, which funds the Nigerian Law School tuition of outstanding graduating law students, helping to remove financial barriers to entering the legal profession.
A Reputation Built on Action
Our pro bono work has been recognised alongside our commercial practice at leading industry events, including a dedicated CSR/Pro Bono honour at the ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards a reflection of the Firm’s sustained investment in access to justice as a core institutional value, not an afterthought.
We are proud to stand among a small group of leading Nigerian law firms with a dedicated, structured approach to pro bono service one built into how we train, deploy and evaluate our lawyers.
